D.I.Y. Spa Favors, Handmade Soap, Bath Salts, & Bath Bombs

Beauty/spa favors are are easy to make & sure to make guests happy. I got the idea of offering a 'Spa Station' for your guests and simply letting them choose their own favor from Intimate Weddings.

Making your own soap is very easy when using a melt & pour base.

All you need is a double boiler or even your microwave, scented oils, dye if you'd like, and a mold of your choice. You can read a full guide on making soap at TeachSoap.com.

Bath Salts Recipe (Fills two 150 ml containers)
Another wonderful favor you can offer your guests.

Bath Bombs with Shea butter are also an amazing favor to offer guests. All you'll need are a few basic ingredients, scented oils, & hollow plastic ornaments. Read the full article with photographs at FaveCrafts.com. You can place the bath bombs in a beautiful antique bowl for display at your reception.

When you're done you can wrap a small paper label around each, tie them up with a bow & a tag, place them in a basket, or place them in a decorative box or bag. You can print the Pillow Boxes seen on the right for free from Oh The Lovely Things. You can also find printable square boxes at Sweetly Scrapped in a large variety of patterns. PackageTech offers even more printable boxes & a plain box to print on your own colored card stock as well. WorldLabel.com offers a huge collection of printable labels you can turn into stickers too if you'd like.
