The scent of lavender has been proven to help many people with anxiety, insomnia, & stress, which makes it perfect for before or after your wedding, for you & your bridesmaids.
Take a luxurious bath using a D.I.Y. Lavender Vanilla Bath Soak that will leave you feeling relaxed & refreshed, or. try the Lavender Milk Bath. The lactic acid in goat's milk is a gentle exfoliating agent, helping to remove dry & dead skin cells. Epsom salts, used in both, have been used to ease pain, stress, and to eliminate toxins for hundreds of years.
When you're done soaking take a loofah to your skin or use a D.I.Y. scrub to leave your skin feeling like new.
For sensitive skin, try the D.I.Y. Lemon-Lavender Sugar Scrub. Sugar contains glycolic acid that gently exfoliates. For rough patches try the Lavender Sea Salt Scrub. A study in 2005 found that sea salt was shown to improve skin hydration & barrier functions.
When you've finished soaking and scrubbing, you have quite a few options depending on your plans. If you still have plans for the day, D.I.Y. Lavender Barrier Cream will keep your skin healthy, soft, & smooth. If you're prone to oily skin or planning on continuing to relax the D.I.Y. Lavender Dusting Powder will leave you feeling just as soft, & doubles as a detoxifying face mask by adding water.
Any of these wonderful D.I.Y. projects would work wonderful as gifts for bridesmaids or favors at a wedding with a Lavender or herbal theme.
