Calm Wedding Jitters & Energize, D.I.Y. Peppermint Spa Treatments

I've always loved mint & there's no argument that the smell is simply energizing. The scent has also been said to help with nausea, headaches, and respiratory disorders which should certainly help with any wedding jitters. And no surprise, mint is also incredibly good for your skin, especially if you're prone acne, as it has antiseptic properties.

I've put together a list of  D.I.Y. spa treatments containing mint, guaranteed to refresh and sooth.

Peppermint & Green Tea Cooling Mist
6 oz Distilled Water
2 Tablespoons of Dried Peppermint Leaves
1 Teaspoon of Green Tea Leaves

Make an infusion with the Peppermint and Green Tea leaves, strain the mixture, & add to a spray bottle. This treatment is a wonderful facial toner & a great treatment for sunburns. It will store in the refrigerator for up to one week. (To make an infusion: pour boiling water over herbs, cover, and allow to sit for 2- to 4 hours.)
