Blueberries in July, A Compilation of Summer Dessert Recipes

When it comes to something blue you may want to consider the desert table. Blueberries are colorful and a perfect accent for a summer wedding. If you live in the Finger Lakes area like I do you can find a great list of local U-Pick Farms at ILoveTheFingerLakes.com.

I tried to find the best recipes and I've listed everything from cupcakes to frozen parfaits along with the recipes for some refreshing summer drinks.

Modern Fairy Tale Themed Wedding Inspiration

The Aster Eco Silk/Hemp Wedding Gown from Abstract Pretty ($1,900) is one of the most unique & beautiful gowns I've seen. An outdoor setting will only enhance the cut petal motif and clean lines.

To complete the look wear a crown of flowers or look like just like a princess in the Art Nouveau Waves Tiara from Castens ($848).

Floral Headpieces, A Romantic Summer Accessory

You can easily add a romantic touch using fresh or preserved flowers as a floral headpiece i.e. a flower or floral crown. To look like a Princess on your special day all you need is a little time, patience, and a look at this great post on how to makeyour own D.I.Y. Midsummer Crown.

ChicVintageBrides has an amazing post with more inspiration, Whimsical & Wonderful Floral Bridal Crowns, & you can visit Bridal Guide's post on Which Flowers Are in Season? to keep your costs down.
