4 D.I.Y. Projects for Recycled Wine Corks: Inspiration for Wine Lovers

Drinking a lot of wine can come in handy when it comes to D.I.Y. projects for your wedding.

Creating monograms from wine corks is as easy as printing your letters, tracing them onto thin craft wood, cutting them out, and then using a hot glue gun to attach the corks.

And if you're not crafty like myself, you can always purchase a monogram from Anchored Soul Company, featured to the left, for $59.

I know I'd love to have this to remember my wedding day.

2 DIY Mason Jar Light Projects: Evening Reception Lighting Inspiration

Evening receptions are the perfect time to have fun with outdoor lighting, and I love mason jars as decor. They're inexpensive, a pack of 12 pint jars sells for just $13.62 on Amazon, and easy to customize.

One great DIY project for mason jars is to turn them into solar lights. Homeleo Solar Jar Lid Inserts fit most mason jars, come in 9 colors, and 5 sell for $22.99. Hanging them is as easy as attaching a wire handle.

You can also create beautiful luminous decor by splattering glow sticks into jars, or using glow in the dark paint.

To create the awesome D.I.Y. mason jar lamps show below start by purchasing glow sticks or glow in the dark paint & mason jars, safely cut open the glow sticks if needed, place the desired amount of liquid in your mason jar, put the lid on, and shake.

I also strongly suggest experimenting with clear iridescent glitter.

Honeymoon in Warm, Beautiful, Tropical Florida

You can have a beautiful, memorable honeymoon without leaving the country or breaking the bank.

And we think the best place to lounge in the sun is the one closest to the equator - the Florida Keys.

To arrive there you'll probably have to drive on part of the Florida Keys Scenic Highway - a 106 mile stretch of road where you can catch glimpses of dolphins and manatees on your way.

As someone who *loves* fishing Florida is ideal and I imagine my partner would enjoy viewing the wildlife as much as I'd enjoy trying to catch it. Florida is also an ideal place to try to catch some blue crabs.

Beautiful clear warm water lets you snorkel or swim with dolphins, or to relax with the manatees.

And finally, the most awesome attractions, events, and awe-inspiring natural scenery we could find includes: The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum - home to 40-50  polydactyl cats, Dry Tortugas National Park - built on old fort featuring crystal clear waters to snorkel in, Bahia Honda State Park & Beach - a beautiful beach next to a historic bridge with kayak rentals, & The Annual Key Lime Festival - featuring something amazing called the Sip & Stroll with over 20 boozy key lime concoctions.
